Cape Town
This includes new destinations and increased flight frequency to provide more travel options for its growing market. With the Airline taking delivery of its new Airbus A350 aircraft last year, customers can expect the aircraft to be deployed in more destinations this 2017. Currently, A350 flies to Cape Town, Johannesburg, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam, Moscow, San Francisco, Tokyo and Manchester.

Also, SIA is increasing flight frequency to points in Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia and West Asia to meet growing travel demand from March to October. In Australia, three to four weekly flights will be added to Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney. In Europe, Rome and Moscow will now be served four to five times per week. In Southeast Asia, Bangkok flight frequency will increase to six per day and Ho Chi Minh City will be served two additional weekly flights. In West Asia, the Indian city of Ahmedabad will be served four times per week while Bangladesh’s capital Dhaka will be served additional three flights per week.

On 30 May 2017, Stockholm will become the second Scandinavian city in SIA’s route network when the Airline introduces flights to Sweden’s capital via Moscow. Flights to Stockholm will be operated with Airbus A350-900 aircraft - the latest addition to the SIA fleet. The new flights will complement SIA’s existing flights to Copenhagen in Denmark, boosting connectivity between Southeast Asia and Northern Europe.

Brussels
For this year’s Singapore Airlines Showcase & Travel Fair, customers will also be able to access the network of its subsidiaries and partners at exclusive promotional rates. Customers will be able to travel from the Philippines to SIA’s online gateways in Europe and connect to additional destinations such as Brussels, Madrid, Hamburg, Oslo, Vienna, Venice, Lisbon, Prague and more.
