#SMStationeryArtFest Art Supplies Haul

I was fortunate to drop by in #SMStationeryArtFest last Wednesday. It's a 5-day event held at SM Megamall's Mega Fashion Hall. I was able to visit the booths to check the best-selling and new products from participating brands such as Sharpie, Faber Castell, Elmer’s, Simbalion, Pilot, M&G, and IFEX. Also, I got my top picks from #SMStationeryArtFest!

We enjoyed lots of popular art-ivities plus fun and engaging booths. Highlights include Calligraphy, Painting, Doodling, and Slime Making with a fresh, exciting spin from young and talented artists! Here are some of the highlights of the five-day event:

It’s a great way to learn about new products and get ideas.  From doodling needs to notepads to paints, I think SM Stationery has it all! It is truly an artist’s haven! I don't think I was able to get everything on my list for my art supplies mini haul, but I’m happy to share my bounty with you. Anyway, here’s what I got.

Above all, art should be fun!

• Sharpie

Who said your sling bag has to be boring? As you can see below, my daughter tried out and used my new Sharpie collection to turn this bag into a colorful one. Maia loves coloring and doodling, and she also likes to learn painting techniques using water, color, and marker. That is why I'm looking for an art workshop for her this summer.

She loves her Sharpie collection! I'm amazed at how easy to make beautiful artwork with Sharpie markers and highlighters. The thing about coloring and doodling is that there is no specific medium you have to use while going through the process. The only important thing is that you get  to do it and get your ideas down quickly. This means marker pens are a good thing to have and my particular favourite are the Sharpies!

• Faber Castell

We use these writing and coloring materials both for doodles and daily sketches. I also want to learn more about brush calligraphy. I want to try and create something today even if it sucks. Lol

Who doesn't love watercolors? Wanna try watercolor lettering? Whatever age you're in, you can do watercolor lettering with Faber Castel watercolors.  

• Ifex Fine Paper

With Ifex Fine Paper, you can turn plain colored paper into beautiful masterpieces. If you're a paper lover and you hoard papers like I do, then you know you must run now to SM Stationery. 

• M&G Pens

M&G brush pens and metallic pens are all you ever need to make beautiful artworks. Here's a few of writing and coloring stuff that are seriously cute.

• Pilot Pens

Pilot became a well-known brand for pens and I've been using it for the longest time.  I found that most pens from other brands bled pretty badly except for Pilot! 

• Elmer's Glitter Glue

Because, Elmer's Glitter Glue is everything.  Give your kids enough glitter glue stick and they can rule the world. :) It adds explosive shimmer and shine to your slime, crafts, and school projects.

Overall, I’m very happy with my mini haul from #SMStationeryArtFest. Oh, and my daughter is very happy too! Remember, every child is an artist. If you have kids who love arts and crafts, nourish and unleash their creativity. Let them join fun art workshops this summer.
