Easy Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich Recipe x Jif Creamy Peanut Butter

Your kid's best school snack might be one spoonful away. Today’s the day to ask yourself “What jif?” I mean, what if?

Peanut butter and loving hands are all it takes to make your kid's baon extra special. So, how about a yummy sandwich with JIF Peanut Butter and sliced bananas perfectly paired with Tree Top juice for snacks? For dessert, they can eat pastillas made with the Regilait milk. Well, these are just a few of my snack food discoveries at the Funville Kitchen in SMX Convention Center.  Mmm — snacking is about to get a whole lot better! Any guesses on my newest discovery?

Well, to give you a hint, here's the shortest love story;

Once upon a time, Jif peanut butter and banana got together, and we all live happily ever! The end.

Finally found the one, my fave peanut butter! Thanks to Sysu International Inc., the distributor of food brands such as Regulait, JIF spreads, and Tree Top fruit drinks, to name a few. Recently, they held a cooking class for parents and kids led by pretty mommy blogger, Rowena Wendy Lim Lei.

We were given aprons, chef hats and disposable gloves to wear, plus kits which include a cutting board, knife and spoon for use during class. Rowena did an amazing job of leading the moms and kids through each step on how to create a healthy and delicious snack like Peanut Butter and Banana Sandwich. It's super easy to make and it’s got bananas and Jif Peanut Butter. What more could you need? We were able to eat our sandwiches and take the leftovers home in a lunch box.

Jif PB + bread + bananas = All the ingredients needed to make the perfect peanut butter sandwich. It’s the perfect peanutty dessert to share with your little helpers.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
2 slices of  white/ wheat bread, toasted
1 medium ripe banana, sliced

Prep: 5 minutes.

How to make:

Spread peanut butter on bread slices. Top with banana. Press together to form sandwich.

Do you know how much I love JIF (both Creamy and Extra Crunchy) peanut butter? Lots. The creamy variant is whipped up into a light and gloriously sinful spread while the Crunchy makes me nuts. I love the smooth and fluffy whipped texture. So smooth and fluffy you won’t be able to stop eating it. It’s great for dipping and spreading! You can dip apples, crackers, cookies and any of your other favorite edible treats or simply eat this by the spoonful. I've been snacking more on Jif peanut butter spread and fresh, crisp apple slices lately. Not sorry. I’d spread the Jif PB on, add fruits or sprinkle cinnamon, and stuff our faces. Every. Single. Day.
