Feng Shui Master Hanz Cua's Predictions for 2015 The Year of the Wood Sheep

December is a time for reflection on our accomplishments over the past year and to know what to expect in the coming year. 2014 has been a good year for most of us but it's also a year of turmoil. It belongs to the Wood Horse, an animal that's aggressive and fast-moving.

Under the Wood Horse, wars and terrorist movements dominated the international headlines. Here in the Philippines, controversial findings involving prominent political figures came into the spotlight. We experienced extreme hot weather, while crimes involving bloodshed, robbery and accidents with our public commuter systems caused great concern among Filipinos. Global health scares like the Ebola virus have threatened us as well.

Want to know what's in store for 2015? Do you want to know what to wear for good luck in 2015?

According to Asia’s youngest Feng Shui master, Master Hanz Cua: 2015, The year of the Wood Sheep in Chinese Zodiac is represented by the benign and spiritual characteristics of the lamb, a gentle creature who grazes on grass and abhors bloodshed. The Feng Shui chart has all the Five Elements (Wood, Water, Metal, Fire and Earth) in proper balance, heralding a more harmonious year. Yin Metal supports the Earth which is a resource element so there will be a boost of prosperity for our nation's economy. The gentle nature of the Sheep will even influence local politics. Our leaders will work together more, and internal strife will decrease.

This year’s lucky color is green, which is very good for bringing luck in business. Wearing red and yellow this year is very auspicious. Wear green underwear to enhance luck! It will enhance power and influence and bring recognition luck. Those under the astrological sign of the Tiger and the Rabbit, will enjoy good fortune this year. So will the Horse, who is best friends with the Sheep.

Wear gold jewelry on your body to attract abundance and profitable opportunities.

Businesses with the Wood element will flourish. Industries that deal in textile, fashion, paper, rubber, and wood will benefit in 2015. Because Fire element is nourished by Wood, industries like restaurants, technology, computers and electronic gadgets, electrical suppy, solar power and businesses that involve thinking, invention and new ideas will all be highly profitable.

North is the lucky direction in 2015. If your front door is located in the northern or Kan sector of the Bagua it is highly auspicious. Use this door often. Blue or black is the color of North, a welcome mat in this color will enhance luck. In the Northwest sits the lucky "star of romance", and this brings romance luck for single people; for those men already married or in committed relationship, however, the star of romance may be problematic. The temptation to stray from your partner may be strong.

While we can take advantage of the good tidings the Wood Sheep brings, Master Hanz cautions there are still things we need to watch out for:

The West Falls under the dreaded Five Yellow Misfortune Star. In the home or workplace, the Western sector is to be avoided as this brings total loss, sickness and accidents. Do not work on important projects, make renovations or sleep in this direction if possible.

Southeast is where the "illness star" is located this year. For people with illness or health issues, and for pregnant women, staying in the southeastern sector of the home should be avoided. The condition of the sick may get worse, pregnant mothers may suffer miscarriage. The Argument Star #3 Star sits in the center of the home, afflicting relationships in the family. Master Hanz advises placing rose quartz or red stone in the middle of the home to dispel conflict and aggression.

For those under the astrological signs of the Rat and Rooster, they will be afflicted in the year of the Wood Sheep. While the gentle Sheep’s nature calms everyone, there is a danger that too much calm will turn people complacent or even lazy. Remember that hard work and determination is still important if you want your endeavors to be successful.

Master Hanz Cua recommends that you include these 8 essential tips to observe when welcoming New Year 2015:

1) General Cleaning and Cleansing. Prepare your home by doing a general cleanup of both the inside and the outside of your house. Clean up any clutters that are lying around inside the house and get rid of broken appliances or gadgets. Broken objects and shabby surroundings invite poverty.  Do your cleaning before New Year’s day itself. When all is done, “cleanse” the premises by burning incense.

2) Wear Red for Power and Green for Wealth.

3) New Haircut. A new hairdo will help activate the Peach Blossom Star of Romance, especially for those singles who are hoping to find their special someone.

4) Bountiful Media Noche Spread. Celebrating New Year’s Eve in a bountiful manner guarantees a year of prosperity. Meat, fish and greens should be represented and different types of fruits and cakes for good luck. Don’t forget to leave some leftovers of each dish, this symbolizes that you will not run out of food for the rest of the year.

5) Twelve Different Kinds of Fruits. Choose twelve kinds of fruits to symbolize each month of the year.
Pineapple-is the one fruit that you must always have in your basket. The Hokkien word for pineapple is ông-lâi, which means “fortune comes”.
Orange-represents gold in Chinese tradition; its round shape means signifies money.
Apples- the Chinese word for apple in is ping, which means harmony.
Grapes-represent luxury; traditionally, it was eaten by kings and royalty.
Banana-they come in clusters, which symbolize unity; its yellow color stands for happiness.
Mangoes-the sweetness of ripe mangoes signify the sweetness that is among family members.
Lemon-its fragrance and essence is known to cleanse or remove negative “vibes”.
Watermelon(Pakwan)-its color means prosperity and many seeds stand for abundance.
Papaya-like the orange its color is symbolic of gold.
Lychees-its round, red body stands for happiness and good fortune.
Avocadoes-green or purple color both symbolize prosperity.
Pomelo(Suha)-its bright red or pink pulp represents good health.

6) Check the Plumbing and Electrical System. Any leaks in your pipes and faucets correlate to leaks in your finances. Light bulbs, outlets and switches should all be in good condition. Burned out light bulbs and faulty wiring signifies poor chi flow, which means your good luck suffers too.

7) Red Envelope (Ampao). These small red envelops decorated with gold Chinese characters are given as gifts by the elderly to the children or younger generation on the eve of New Year. There is always a certain amount of money inside. This represents a “payment” to appease the ghosts so they won’t harm the recipients of the ampao. In general the red envelop signifies protection and good luck.

8) Making a Loud Noise. The Chinese believe loud noise drives away evil spirits.
