A Mix of Music and Festivity at CinemaJam 2014

Rain or shine, CinemaJam 2014 proved to be unstoppable with a more spectacular line-up of local artists and visual treats for music and movie lovers of all ages.

Gracing this year’s program were MYX VJs Nikki Gil and KC Montero. From afternoon till sunset, the stage was set ablaze by today’s top OPM bands Imago, Itchyworms, Pedicab, Banda ni Kleggy, Autotelic, Group Hug, Cheats, Chocolate Factory, and Franco.
As the venue echoed their electrifying sets, festival goers also got to try thrilling outdoor activities such as zipline, bungee, and wall climbing.

In line with the better sight, better life campaign, a free eyesight consultation was also offered in the Optical Village booth, a special area manned by eye care experts. The booth also showcased the latest product innovations from Crizal Transitions, including the first and only photochromic lens in the iconic shade of green called Crizal Transitions Signature lenses.

Evening came and a magnificent fireworks display lit up the skies, transitioning to the much-awaited outdoor movie screening of Hollywood blockbusters Letters to Juliet and Now You See Me.

This was followed by Sam Concepcion’s stunning performance for humanitarian organization World Vision, the official beneficiary of CinemaJam for two years now. “My family has been supporting World Vision even before I started in show business so this organization has been really close to my heart.  Whenever there are activities like this and I’m available, I always find it a privilege to be part of their cause,” shared Concepcion. CinemaJam 2014 ended with a midnight jam finale by Urbandub and Bamboo.

“Through music, movies, entertainment, and the unveiling of our newest product Crizal Transitions Signature Green, Cinemajam strives to promote the importance of good vision and keeping a positive perspective in life” said Dra. Emelita Roleda, General Manager of Essilor, the company behind event initiator Crizal Transitions.

With great music, movies, fun activities, and a crowd full of life coming together all for a cause, CinemaJam 2014 has truly defined a weekend like no other. This year’s Crizal Transitions CinemaJam 2014 is made possible by C-Interactive, Greenfield District Central Park, Myx, the Official Music Channel, Cinema One, 99.5 Play FM, Police, Toby’s, Medicard Philippines, Grab Taxi, and WhenInManila.com.
