E! News Asia Features Filipino Heartthrob Piolo Pascual

Swoon Alert: Piolo Pascual looks as sharp and dapper as ever in a suit, don't you think?

He will also be featured on E! News Asia Special as he opens up about his public and private life . This exclusive no-holds-barred, tell-all interview premieres 28 September at 9pm on E! - the destination for celebrity and entertainment news.

Piolo is considered to be one of the most successful TV and film stars in the country. The 37 year old star has been at the top of his profession for nearly two decades clocking up an incredible 20 movies, 10 solo albums and over a dozen TV shows.

“A household name in the Philippines, Piolo’s personality, gravitas and compelling life story are a perfect fit for E!” said Christine Fellowes, Managing Director, Asia-Pacific, Universal Networks International. “The Filipino appetite for local celebrity stories such as E! News Asia Special: Anne Curtis and record-breaking reality series It Takes GUTZ To Be A Gutierrez, has proven popular with our viewers and will continue to be a priority for NBCUniversal in this region.”

The celebrity-obsessed culture in the Philippines has arguably made Piolo’s personal life as entertaining as one of the romantic blockbusters he has starred in. He has played his part in the “love team” phenomena being paired off romantically with several of his leading ladies, notably actress KC Concepcion. Their two-year whirlwind romance captivated the imagination of their fans before it all came to a dramatic end.

In the brand new 30-minute E! News Asia Special, Piolo will reveal the truth about all the rumors and myths surrounding him. Viewers will also get a chance to see him at his most candid, talking about his aspirations and surrounded by the people he loves: his family and his 17-year-old son Inigo, who he has reconciled with after a long absence. Current and former co-stars Toni Gonzaga and Iza Calzado, among others, are also featured in this showcase.

Piolo joins other regional entertainment powerhouses like Lisa Surihani from Malaysia, Jay Park from South Korea, Aaron Aziz from Singapore and fellow countrywoman Anne Curtis in securing his very own showcase on E!
