Teaming up for the first time, Kapamilya Comedy Queen Ai-ai delas Alas and Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera are proud of this upcoming film. Brilliant plot, brit humor at its best, action-packed and with a heartwarming twist that'll break your ❤ in the best way. You'll also get a lot of awesome CGI effects! Very "House of Flying Daggers" ang peg. Indeed, a showcase of celestial proportion of Pinoy's talent.

Dubbed as an action comedy adventure, “Kung Fu Divas” Marian and Ai-Ai are bitter beauty pageant rivals turned to unlikely allies. Other cast members are Gloria Diaz, Bianca Manalo, Precious Lara Quigaman, Roy Alvarez, Edward Mendez and Roderick Paulate as the villainous San-ing.

Even the names of the main characters are hilarious. Lyna, Mena and Kojic are all names of popular whitening soaps. Wondering if there's also Kokuryu. Haha I heard there is a lot of "laglag-panty moments" which I think is very funny.  Marian and Ai-Ai, as well as Edward Mendez, were trained and they used harness in most of the fight scenes with some of the highly-skilled stuntmen from China. How cool is that?

In a bloggers conference held last week, Marian Rivera revealed that it was actually her second time to set foot on ABS-CBN since she spent her OJT years in ABS-CBN when she was in college. And now that she has a Star Cinema project under her belt, she said she is really proud to co-produce this film.  Also, the movie is distributed by Star Cinema as part of its 20th anniversary presentation.

The movie was shot in four locations; Batangas, Bataan, Pangasinan and Caliraya. However, much of what you see in the film is not shot on location but created by using green screen. The film is loaded with chroma CGI (Computer General Imaging) technology and you'll be amazed with its great visual effects. Amazeballs!
