Snoopy's Holiday Street Fair: Snoopy Celebrates 60 Years of Fun

Snoopy turns 60 this year! So I guess that makes Snoopy 253 years old in dog years, yes? But then again, age is just a number, and who doesn't love Snoopy and friends? My daughter loves Peanuts and I'm a huge fan as well.

In celebration of 60 years and counting of Snoopy Happiness and in anticipation of the holiday season, Snoopy will once again brighten up every family’s holiday spirit as we invite you to the “SNOOPY’S HOLIDAY STREET FAIR” on November 24, 2012 at the New Glorietta Activity Center!

And guess what? It’s a triple celebration because they are launching their Snoopy teens wear and also opening of the new Snoopy concept store, Beagle Place! Yay!

Snoopy was born from the world’s famous comic strip, Peanuts that debuted on October 2, 1950 and made famous by creative genius Charles Schulz. It has already appeared in over 2,600 countries. Snoopy began his life in the strip as a fairly conventional dog, but eventually evolved into perhaps the strip's most dynamic and coolest dog any owner could have. Lucky Charlie Brown, eh?

Over the years Snoopy has been a global phenomenon and has even penetrated the world of high fashion. Surely, you could never go out of style with Snoopy! After all designers and major brands worldwide have done breathtaking collaborations with this Cool Joe. Prestigious Japanese brands like Uniqlo and Mercibeaucoup also incorporated Snoopy into their recent collections. We bet your bottom dollar they know a thing or two about style.

This year, Snoopy and the gang decided to turn the very popular game, “Snoopy’s Street Fair”, into reality with lots of fun activities in store for everybody. Your kids can dress up for the occasion by having their faces painted. You can also try your luck and win lots of prizes from the game booths. Also, get creative at Woodstock’s Art Corner or you can simply shop the latest pieces from Snoopy's newest collections at discounted prices. Then after a full day of excitement, quench down at Sally’s refreshing lemonade stand. These and more surprises await you at the fair so be sure to drop by!

Another highlight of the event will be the release of the “Snoopy’s Street Fair” collection that celebrates the prestige icon we all grew up to love and incorporating that to kids’, preteens’ and the much-awaited teens’ outfits. Dressing up your kids stylishly and comfortably has never been this easy with the wide-range of premium items that our Snoopy stores could offer. Not to mention that it is so unbelievably affordable with tops ranging from Php199 to Php599, bottoms ranging from Php199 to Php899 and sets ranging from Php599 to Php999.

So I’m sure you’re already wondering by now how you can take part if this fun-filled event! Simply purchase Php1,000 worth of Snoopy clothes nationwide or Php1,500 worth of items from Glorietta’s participating stores. Yes! It’s that easy! Then just redeem your tickets by presenting your receipt at our newly opened Beagle Place (Snoopy) store at Glorietta 1 or at the New Glorietta Activity Center on Nov 24, 2012. Hurry!  There are only limited slots left!
