Let's RACE for LIFE!

In a race between lion & deer, the deer wins most of the time. Why? Because the lion runs for food, while deer for life. That said, I believe purpose is more important than need.

So lemme just ask You ↑ You ↓ You ↙ You ↖ You ← You ↘ You ↗ Oh and You If your life depended on it, would you rather run a 10-km race for a gold medal or for the mere purpose of feeding a hungry child? Better yet, would you consider running for a cause?

If yes, then all you have to do is click on this LINK and do your bit for the cause. Let's get ready to put the “FUN” back in “RUN” by joining the RACE for LIFE!

As for me, I love running the race especially if it's for a good cause. Just imagine getting fit and healthy while supporting a great cause! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Race for LIFE 2011 will be held on Saturday, November 12 in the Fort. There will be a 3K, 5K, & 10K race as well as an "Amazing Race" Big & Small team category wherein one adult and one child (5-10 years old) will run, skip, hop & much more to the finish line! This event was organized by Real Life Foundation.

The Real LIFE Foundation is passionate about providing a better future for underprivileged Filipinos by giving them access to a good education and transforming their communities through community service. It is a social & educational advocacy that exists to serve the poor & empower their dreams through education, mentoring, & community service.

The LIFE Scholarships program provides high school and university scholarships to poor but deserving students who, if not for the scholarships, would have no chance of obtaining a university degree.
LIFE Coaching is the character development program of the Real LIFE Foundation and which provides mentoring for our scholars in Leadership, Integrity, Faith, and Excellence. They give their scholars a unique advantage in being able to apply for employment having already had training in areas such as how to be servant leader, how to be a man or woman of integrity, and how to be excellent in everything you do. They also sponsor weekly feeding programs for the kids and provide a nutritious meal to malnourished children in an impoverished community in Pasig.

Believe it or not, there's always a way for us to make a difference in this world. We can give to life. We can change a life. How?

There are many ways to give:

1. Adopt a scholar.
2. Feed a hungry child.
3. Donate goods.
4. Serve the community.
5. Help your neighbor.
6. Join the Race for Life 2011.

Remember, Life is like a race. If you fall down, get up and run faster! Actually, each time I find myself flat on my face, I pick myself up and get back in the race.. that's life! Let's race for a good cause, race to be the fastest, or race because we can. See you there! :)
