35 weeks preggo! 35 days to go! or maybe less?

so here are my really brave tummy shots! *grinning*
and for the latest preggy update..I'm still looking big at 35 weeks.. the final stretch has arrived and I am now approaching the final pitstop (Amazing race??) ..and now it's starting to look like a beach ball rather than the compact football a week ago .. and yes! it's still pink! *wink* but nope! I didn't swallow the beach ball aryt?! lol

From BabyCenter.com:
Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds (pick up a honeydew). Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight.

Yesterday I went to see the doctor and I'm glad to know that my baby's doing fine and she's still in a head down position.I also had another shot for tetanus toxoid (ouch!)but I guess I'm getting used to it now. I'm not that scared when I see a needle now, I guess nothing beats the pain during labor right? oh yes, I have to get used to pain as early as now...*gasp* it can be done! Also, she said my baby will be full term after less than 3 weeks or so. I just hope that my baby will be patient enough(and mommy too! lol) and wait a wee bit more and behave like she's doing now for another 2 weeks or so. I think it's better for my baby to grow inside my uterus for a lil bit longer which is the best incubator there is. lol Oh well I gained 2 kilos after 4 weeks. My belly button has got bigger and has popped out already! yikes! I think I have to really really stop myself from eating too much sweets now.. and I promise that the banoffee pie from Starbucks that hubby brought me the other night was the last sweet treat for me this month. promise! promise! and besides I know I can always have some of it or lots of it hehe after I give birth right? right.. *thinking*wishing*

and yeah.. "all my bags are packed, I'm ready to go".. *singing* and I got some gifts for my baby like sterilizer, cutie clothes, nasal aspirator, bottles, nappies, diaper bag, baby stuff, beddings, bath tub, etc. etc.. wee!!! I'm so happy!

Things I love this week: I love all the gifts for my baby. I really love the pink baby blanket. so cute! and yes! I'm still loving the banoffee pie. I'd have to say that Starbucks banoffee pie taste even better than the Red Ribbon banoffee pie I tried last week. :) Now the taste test was done and mission is accomplished. lol I also love listening to mellow and lullaby-ish songs hoping it can help in relaxing myself and my baby. I love the Kris Aquino Songs of Love and Healing@ Tonet's site.. at first I thought Kris Aquino's really singing? amp! naaah, it's just her collection of fave songs I guess. I also downloaded the "Sun and Moon" sang by Lea Salonga and "Someone's waiting for you" which is lovingly dedicated for my baby Chanelle. awww.... sweeet! :)

Things I hate this week: That it's going to be my last taste test for the month or until I give birth or else, I'm gonna be a sinner. :( Heartburn is so awful this week! amp! I dread it! and I really can't sleep so well because I have to pee a lot! Lastly, I hope you can help us naming our baby so please kindly vote for the cutest name in my poll. Now I just happened to realize that naming a baby is not an easy task especially considering that my baby will have that name for the rest of her life. (sigh)

Now I'm starting to get anxious and excited that my baby's coming real soon (for real!?)..and I know my life's going to change (big time!) and it's never gonna be the same...
I can't wait for my days to be filled with nappies, crying, cooing and love...

  1. Ah, the woes of being a mom. Oh well, it would be all worth it in the end, my mum always says. I don't really know, I'm just a kid. :> But we've been discussing about pregnancy and stuff during class. (How convenient no? ((: Haha.) I hope your baby will be healthy and happy when it gets here. :] G'luck with your delivery. :)
