I'm sure the Titos and Titas of Manila clearly remember these lines from the original series of Voltron. It's one of the most popular fan-favourite shows of all time and guess what? The legend is back! DreamWorks Animation reimagines Voltron for today’s audience in this all-new comedic action-packed series, DreamWorks Voltron: Legendary Defender!
Also, the guys at Dreamworks sent us over some Voltron 360 goggles or VR Viewer for the kids to try out. Maia and Yuan were absolutely amazed and they can't help but stare in awe as they take a look around Voltron and the Blue Lion.
A lil bit about Voltron:
Five unsuspecting teenagers, transported from Earth into the middle of a sprawling intergalactic war, become pilots for five robotic lions to protect the universe from evil. Only through the true power of teamwork can they unite their lions to form the mighty warrior known as Voltron: Legendary Defender, who was first formed 10,000 years ago and stands taller than the Statue of Liberty.
Led across the farthest reaches of space by an adventurous alien princess, our teens must put aside their differences, summon Voltron to stop the sinister Galra Empire from consuming the entire cosmos, and become the heroes they were meant to be. And if they survive that, maybe — just maybe — they can get the food replicator to cook a decent cheeseburger.
