Dermairis Facial Mask Review + Media Launch Highlights

Just in case you missed: Dermairis officially launched in the Philippines last November at a private venue in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.

Among the first to experience the breakthrough skincare product were top print and online
lifestyle media, who were treated to a night of luxurious pampering by JW Healthcare
Philippines (JWHP), the local sales subsidiary of JW Group, a leading pharmaceutical
company in Korea.

Dermairis face Mica Tuballa with special guests at the launch event.

According to Arceno, JW has presence in more than 45 countries. Its headquarters is located in
the Gangnam area of Seoul, South Korea. The holding company controls several business
groups, manufacturing facilities, and research centers, one of which is JW CreaGene, the
developer of Dermairis.

“JW Group’s founding spirit is anchored in our respect for life. This is what motivates us in
dealing with our patients and in dealing with our customers,” Arceno said.

Arceno’s declaration echoes the earlier statement of Jinam Oh, Finance Head of JWHP: “JW
Group, with its founding principle of Respect of Life, strives to supply high-quality healthcare
and cosmeceutical products to patients and consumers globally.”

This commitment to beauty backed by science was evident at the launch party, where JWHP
invited the glamorous dermatologist Dr. Crystal Roxas to talk about the importance of skincare.

“The skin is the largest organ of the body and it is the organ that is exposed to the external
world,” Dr. Roxas said. “The skin reflects the general mental and physical well-being. It’s a
sacrificial organ because when you’re stressed, the first sign is seen on your skin.”

She recommended the basic routine of regular cleansing, exfoliation, toning, moisturizing, and
protection, and taught the audience how to perform each step properly.

After a string of exciting games and prizes, it was time to unveil the much-awaited 4-in- 1 face mask as the room decked in pink and blue decor erupted in revelry. Soon after the confetti had dropped, the Dermairis Mask promotional video was also shown for the first time.

Following the live music care of event host DJ Ana Ramsey of MOR 101.9, guests were treated
to dinner, drinks, and a relaxing massage, the perfect way to cap a night of beauty and
pampering.

Here, a video that highlights all the things that went down at the media launch.

So I tried these awesome masks and I'm really digging these because of the following reasons: 😋

  •  It felt very luxurious and relaxing. It  offers four skin benefits:
1. Moisturizing
2. Anti-wrinkle
3. Elasticity
4. Whitening
  • Great texture, and it's a bit thicker than most sheet masks. The mask was super wet after 20 minutes, so I decided to leave it on longer, 40 minutes and it was still damp! You can also put some essence sa neck para sulit. lol
  • Awesome packaging.  There are two variants of the Dermairis Mask. The Dermairis Blue consists of air pockets that contain nutrients, while the Dermairis Pink uses soft microfiber that is finer than a hair strand.

  • It has lots of calming ingredients, so this is probably why it gives me soft and dewy skin after using it.  😍  It uses 10 main ingredients, including JW's two proprietary technologies.
1. The patented JW-EGF (CTP-EGF) that penetrates the skin 5x faster than the other EGF, making the Dermairis Mask more efficient than other masks.
2. Meanwhile, AMF is not destroyed by time and blocks moisture evaporation for 120 hours. It therefore works more effectively than NMF (Natural Moisturizing Factor) found in other face masks, which reduces skin moisture retention.
3. Hyaluronic acid- to attract and retain a large amount of water.
4. Ceramide- which helps hold cells together, leaving you with plump and dewy skin.
5. Adenosine- more restoring and nourishing ingredients.
6. Acetyl Tetrapeptide- boost cell growth and fight visible signs of aging.
7. Astaxanthin- an anti-aging antioxidant.
8. Snail secretion filtrate- another collagen and elastin-building ingredient.
9. Botanical extracts- to improve skin texture
10. Niacinamide- to bring clearer and brighter complexion, evens out skin tone, and fights pigmentation.
  • Smell, there's almost nothing there, which I like. There's no foul smell or masangsang and matapang na amoy, besh!
  • Fit = awesome! 4 stars for me looking terrifying. Haha. Normal size but of course, bitin sa noo ko. Ganon daw talaga pag matatalino sabi ng lola ko! lol
  • Easy to use and unfold. It is easy to open and put on without the hassle of the mask folding together. What I like to do is wash my face and then apply the mask longer than 20 minutes so my face can really absorb the moisture especially after a day of wearing a full face of makeup. Don't forget to pat, pat, pat the remaining essence into your skin too!
Tip: Sometimes I wear the mask before applying primer as a good moisture base for the day ahead.

  •  It left my skin so smooth and there's a little redness after using it! The redness disappeared after a few minutes though. It really hydrated my skin, and didn't leave any sticky residue.
  • Affordable. The Dermairis Blue has a suggested retail price of P70, while the Dermairis Pink is offered at an SRP of P150. The masks are available at leading beauty and wellness counters, drugstores, and skin clinics nationwide.
Verdict: I really like them 👍🏻 and it gives enough hydration and smoothness to my tired skin. So, I would definitely recommend and buy again. Trust me, this is the face mask to try if you have dry skin and if you feel like your skin needs nourishment.

Hydrated and young-looking skin is now just a face mask away!  For more information, follow @dermairisph on Facebook and Instagram.
