Ariel Honors 100 Fearless Filipinas at the Wash Your Fears Away Summit

Behind every great woman, there's a tremendous pile of laundry. As for me, the stain is my nemesis, because it won't disappear even when I blink. Not even three times. But stain, like life, doesn't have to be so hard.

Just like the fact that being a woman in society is hard, it's quite visible that there is still social stigma that affects women. But this shouldn’t hinder us women from going after our dreams. I believe fears and stains shouldn’t stop us in achieving our goals. As a mom of 2, I am not afraid of the challenges that comes with it. Yaas! Even the toughest stains in my laundry bin are no big deal because I have a partner that is as fearless as me – ARIEL!

So many good things happened this week, I don't know where to start sharing. But definitely, meeting these brave and beautiful women at the Ariel Wash Your Fears Summit is the most memorable. Ariel, the world’s leading detergent, gathered women and honored them as the 100 Fearless Filipinas, and I am proud to say that I am one of them as the Fearless Mommy Blogger.

It has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and be brave in dealing with hardships and trials. Ariel, proves that just like hundreds of Filipinas, being fearless is the only way to rise above the gender stigma in society.

In the Ariel Wash Your Fears Summit, celebrity moms, influencers, writers and bloggers alike came to witness Ariel’s ability to remove 100 stains in 1 wash. During the event, we were given white t-shirts and were asked to choose one of the sample cups of the 100 stain-causing agents (like fish sauce,chocolate cereal, lip stick, blue ink, mud, etc.) Then, we painted our greatest fear on the t-shirt.

Three things entered my mind; Discrimination, Death of loved ones and Prejudice. I'm so glad to be able to join the 100 Fearless Filipinas to wash away our fears. After that, we were asked to drop the shirts off at a bin. The, the ambassadors cleaned the soiled shirts with Ariel in Samsung washing machines. Believe it or not, Ariel can remove 100 stains in 1 wash.

Not only does it prove the cleaning power of Ariel, but it also symbolizes that we have the power to wash away our fears. To be fearless in facing the stains in our life! Ariel reminds us to be strong and brave in dealing with our obstacles – just like its ability to remove 100 stains in 1 wash! It also made me realize that no woman is ever truly alone in fighting their battles and that we should always support and empower one another. We are all going through a battle and having one another will make it a little bit better.

The Ariel Wash Your Fears Summit was an event like no other. I met other fascinating women from all walks of life who have gone through different challenges, and yet they were able to overcome their fears, and are now inspiring others to do the same. The event was empowering, heartwarming, and effective. I met women who were dedicated, passionate, and of course, fearless – inspiring me to face my own challenges and to not let stains present in society bring me down!

I met the beauty queen and very inspiring speaker, Miriam Quiambao. She shared an insightful and powerful message on how to conquer our own fears. Her words inspired me not to dwell on past mistakes... to “wash away the fears” and move forward.

It was truly an honor to share the stage with brave women like Amina Rasul, an advocate for peace and development, Mons Romulo, a lifestyle columnist, Marilou Chua, a beauty queen and an advocate for children’s education, Mandy dela Rama, a entrepreneur, Anna Kapunan, an advocate for health and environment,  Samira Gutoc- Tomawis, a journalist, and Ariel’s brand ambassador, Kris Aquino.

Meeting the Queen of All Media, Kris Aquino, has inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and be brave in dealing with hardships and trials. She also shared her biggest fear; "My loved ones getting hurt." I share her fear because just like her, my family is so precious. She has been through a lot yet she still manages to move forward and achieve her goals. She is truly an inspiration.

Fears and stains shouldn’t stop us in achieving our goals. We are all in this together so let’s all bring each other up and celebrate one another. Let us be fearless in facing the stains in our life!

We all know that every stain comes with a story behind it. As much as I'd like to hold on to memories, I bet no one wants a stain to stay on their clothes forever. Good thing there's Ariel Power Gel! Now, I am empowered to wash away my fears with the help of Ariel.

I'm inspired to be strong and brave – like Ariel and its ability to remove 100 stains in 1 wash! I don't like to brag but today, I washed a ginormous load of clothes without breaking a sweat with the help of my ever reliable Ariel Power Gel... it's like I'm some kind of domestic ninja!
