McDonald’s Treats Dads to Free Chicken McDo on Father’s Day

Today, Maia's dad received a McDonald’s Chicken McDo surprise treat that beats all surprises that he has ever been given.

I let Maia write "Thank you" notes and the many reasons why she wants to thank her dad. As for me, I have countless reasons to thank him on Father’s Day –  for going the extra mile to make us laugh, for dedicating his life to me and our little family, for relieving me of the hardship of pregnancy, the indescribable pain of labor, and the trials of motherhood, for the sleepless nights spent taking care of our baby and changing diaper, and for the secret fries and sundae treat with Maia when I was away. As if being a mom to our kids wasn't rewarding enough, it made me realize how lucky I am to be with someone who acknowledges the sacrifices that women make to bear and raise their children. For all his hard work and loving care, he deserves this one day in a year to take it easy and just relax.
