For my Overprotective Mom: Safeguard’s Para sa OA kong Nanay Video

Since it's Mother's Day this weekend, I would like to share a video to celebrate the most inspiring women in our lives who have held our hands, changed our diapers, fed us, taught us how to sing ABC, and maybe cried when we got married.

This is one video I've wanted to share all week. A video for every Filipino mom, including the woman who made me the wonderful mom I am today. This video pays tribute to my Mama and to all our moms, whose love and protection are beyond compare.

In this video, you'll smile, you'll cry, but mostly you'll just be amazed that a video could put into words what every daughter or son wants to say to his/her overprotective mom. It's a bit emotional but it's truly moving and inspiring. Press play to see why.



Thank you to Safeguard, moms’ partner in health, for this heartwarming video. Indeed, you will never truly understand the depth of a mother’s love until you become a parent yourself. I've learned everything from my overprotective mom who never hesitated to hug me or tell me that she loves me. Someone who always gives me the protection that I need.  Someone who constantly lectures me, drives me insane, stalks me and hunts me down when she has to. Someone who teaches me how to become a responsible parent. I will never find anyone else in my life who loves, cares and worries about me more than my OA mom. When she was upset with me, she never hesitated to let me know, but when she was proud, she never hesitated to let the whole world know. And that made all the difference.

Happy Mother’s Day to all moms out there!  Also, I'd like to thank everyone who greeted and remembered me on my birthday. Very much appreciated. :)
