9 years ago, on my 25th birthday, I met my husband. I was an aspiring blogger and a licensed physical therapist with big dreams for the future. I never thought my life would pan out as it has. I definitely never thought I'd have a gift by the age of 27, my daughter Maia, who is now seven.
Seven.
Seven years later, I definitely never thought I'd lose a gift, my angel baby, (a miscarriage) early this year.
Year.
Year after year, I've realized that dreams change.. and what we think we want isn't always what will make us happy.
Happy.
Happy to receive these gifts, I am overwhelmingly full of gratitude for each and every amazing gift.
Gifts.
Gifts I never would have even known to wish for, but Someone up there knew just what would make this girl feel whole and complete this Christmas.
Christmas.
Christmas makes me happy. 'Tis the season to celebrate the joy of giving. When I'm feeling down, I shop which meant holiday shopping for my loved ones. I find it super relaxing and of course, the people around me seem to enjoy it too. I'm getting excited for my holiday shopping at SM malls. That being said, I want to make our family's Christmas extra special this year by gifting only the best.
Best.
The best is yet to come... so I'm sharing this wish list, probably the best ever because I'm taking gifting to the next level. Here are some of the Christmas gift ideas for my loved ones this year;
Bears.. they are pretty much the Johnny Depp of stuffed animal toys. As far as I'm concerned, they are the most squishy and huggable creatures in this world.. Teddy rules, Johnny rules, end of story.
Also, my Grade 2 schooler is studying Geography with her little globe. This one's much bigger though. I hope someday she'll learn and recognize this as a good metaphor.. She had a tiny world, and I gave her a bigger one.

And of course, the Christmas wish for me and my hubby.. I'm praying for this early Christmas gift to live, love, laugh and grow with us. I'm thinking of giving him a new car, an Audi perhaps, but I found something better.. I shared this gift with my hubby last night, and this is what he came home to.

Yes, we're adding a little more gift of love to our family, due June 2016. I still have a high-risk pregnancy but I'm hoping and praying that God will always guide and bless us, like always. I am grateful for each and every gift, even the short life of a "gift" who once lived inside me, and the new "gift" who has been fighting from Day 1.
See all these gifts? All these things were once scribbled on a piece of paper. And before that, it was simply an idea in my head. Remember that any idea that you have, you can make it real and it will definitely manifest happiness to others.
Well, the whole point of gift-ing is the act of giving, to act and feel like Santa, and enjoy it. Hopefully, I get to check off everything on my list and check every department ( nah, meant to say the Beauty and Makeup section.) On another note, there's a lot of amazing things we can find at SM malls, all we need to do is to stroll about with our eyes, hearts and arms wide open. I'm planning to give back to others this Christmas by simply sharing the joy and spreading the love to everyone.

Sorry to hear that sad experience ms.chelle. it makes me sad because I been through of that too 4 years ago( been in depression) but I was blessed again and now I have my son.I hope that you'll be fine. Just pray. I am in teary eye. Hayyy. Anyway, Christmas makes me excited always because of family reunions:) not yet started of holiday shopping yet, wala pang bonus kasi. Soon I will:)
