L'Oreal Launches the new Miss Manga Mascara by False Lash + Great L'Oreal Sale

Hey doll! Meet the new best friend of Asian lashes – Miss Manga mascara by False Lash. It makes panda eyes a thing of the past and it promises to give you big Manga lashes. To be honest, I was in love at first lash because it really gives that instant doll lash effect.

Looking for the answers to these questions and more, I recently attended the launch of L'Oreal's newest mascara at Whitespace in Makati. We were all invited to have a mini makeover of our choice, we could either try on a different look at the Flirty Doll Room or have a cute Chun Li buns at the Baby Doll Room.

After the makeover, we were provided with a workshop kit for the demo led by L'Oreal's Makeup Director and Senior Makeup Artist.

In between the demonstrations and product recommendations, I learned plenty of tips and tricks from the L'Oreal experts on how I can make this season’s trends work for me by getting to know my own lashes. Let's admit it (love it or hate it) every girl needs a mascara, and we all need to learn some tricks to look our best.

For starters, go ahead and check your own lashes with a mirror.

Manga is a widely popular Japanese art style featured in comic books and graphic novels, embodied by characters with wide, big eyes. Taking this as inspiration, L’Oréal Makeup Designer/Paris developed a mascara specifically made for Asian lashes.

Overall, it was a pretty fun experience, the workshop was an eye opener. I've learned new make-up techniques and I loved being dolled up for a day.
