Grub's Up at Chelsea Kitchen

Recently, I went out for an epic food trip, and if I had to put a number on it, I'd say 100% of the great meals I've ever had were on Sunday afternoon eating at Chelsea Kitchen.

So, what’s great about this place?  It captures all the little qualities that you expect to find in your dream kitchen, serving up a lot of delicious grub!

I love how you can see the action with its open kitchen design. When the kitchen's open, you can see if it's clean, and you can check how your food is being prepped and cooked. I dunno about you but for me, that's important. It's all about showing and treating the customer's food with care and dignity.

What's more, you're always assured that no MSG goes into your food, and everything's prepared fresh everyday. Yay!

You won't miss it because it's located at the entrance of Mega Fashion Hall, right in front of H&M.. Chelsea Kitchen is part of the Raintree Restaurants. They serve comfort food in a relaxed and comfortable setting. They have picnic tables and wooden chairs that add up to its laid-back and cozy atmosphere.

The serving is huge so it's ideal for sharing plus the menu is aesthetically pleasing, with catchy words like Kitchen Bites, Good Eats, and Kitchen Licks!

To be honest, this menu will make you forget of how many calories you’ll have to get after each dish.

I found so many favorites at  Chelsea Kitchen. See what I think should make it to the top of your must-try list:

Truffled Spinach Cream Dip in a bread bowl. Tortilla chips and the cream dip, perfect combo of crunchy and creamy goodness! It's my new favorite snacky dip!

Lime Chicken & Chorizo Nachos. It's a mix of chili lime chicken & chorizo nachos, with feta crumble, sour cream, fresh cilantro, and salsa. I'm not a huge fan of nachos but these nachos are the only "love triangles" I want!

Mushroom Chicharon is a healthy, crunchilicious snack served with Basil pesto aioli and Spiced vinegar dip. Surprisingly good if you ask me!

CK Chicken Salad.  At CK, I love how they have to turn everything into something delicious… even salad! I loved the char-grilled asian pesto chicken on the greens. Perfect for someone like me who loves eating (and perhaps over-eating) while trying not to pile up the pounds. You can mix it your way or you can also ask them to mix it up for you.

If you like pizza, and really, who doesn’t? Try the Meat Parts Pizza. This meaty-licious stone-fired pizza is a must try! The dough are made fresh and fermented for hours.

Or you can also try the Super Garlic Pizza if you love garlic! The dough is good, super garlic-ky, but overall, pretty tasty and cheesy.

Truffled Mushroom & Bacon pasta is delicious and the sauce is rich and creamy. Need I say more?

Tinapa aglio olio. This pasta is delicious beyond words. Angel hair pasta + fresh basil + wild arugula + fresh cherry tomatoes = Perfection

U.S. Roast Beef with Gravy. This is the best roast beef I've tried. Seriously. You simply must try this. The beef belly is tender and tasty, smothered with mushroom gravy on toast. That’s how I like my beef and gravy where I think a lot of the flavor comes from.

Chicken Parmigiana. Herb crumbs smothered with white sauce and melted mozzarella. I love everything with mozzarella and this one did not disappoint. I would recommend to pair it with their rice pilaf.

Triple Decker Sandwich. I decided to share the sandwich with my hubs, which was out of this world good. Of course, the yummy sandwich comes with a hefty serving of country-style fries. Looooove this!

Donut Holes. This dessert wasn’t overpowering or overly sweet. Two words. Sinfully delicious. Highly recommended!

Chelsea Waffles: Salted Caramel and Bacon This is something new to me and I liked it! The caramelized bacon on top were excellent. Thin, crispy slices. Yum. Yes, they're a tad too sweet, but absolutely worth every calorie. *wink*

Don't even question it. If you have any decency and love of cheesecake, go for the Cookie Dough Cheesecake! It's Maia's ultimate, I repeat, ultimate favorite! I definitely recommend it for your daily dose of sweet tooth.
Is cookie dough cheesecake a thing??? If not, it should be!
For the drinks, they have all kinds of crafted refreshments; from shakes, malts, floats, fine tea, wine to everything else that comes hot and cold! They have a great selection of Illy coffee and that cappucino with a sweet bear latte art is my favorite. Plus, it includes a local touch of sweetness with some bars of Chocnut on the side.

Latte art, baby!
With my friend, Mish
Overall, it's a great place for catching up with friends or grabbing a brunch or dinner date with your family. Everything we had there was a delightful treat and I crave for donut holes all the time. Will definitely be back to try more!

With my hubby. Happy tummies!
