Lock and Lock Launches its Newest Cookware and Glassware Line

After a long day, I might not have the courage for a long cooking session. But I'm home for mere hours and I already have a cooking session planned for tomorrow. That's all because I got something new from Lock & Lock.

I attended the Lock & Lock Cooking Session with Raintree Restaurants' Chef Kalel Chan last August 29. It was fun and I enjoyed the interactive live demo
using Lock & Lock’s newest products, as it launched its own cookware and glassware lines.

Chef Kalel prepared my favorite Pad Thai, the best thing I've tasted all week. The perfect blend of sweet, sour, spicy and savory shrimp, what's not to love? He also demonstrated a number of Thai dishes inspired by his new innovative recipes and culinary creations.

The snappy lucky "Chefs of the Day" Lou and Ruth, cooked up some bacon and eggs and won some Lock & Lock goodies! We also had an amazing culinary experience by tasting all the yummy dishes prepared for us.
This is me, caught in the act of getting those yummy mango sushi  rice and heavenly leche flan turon with fellow foodies/ blogger friends. Won't  miss it for the world! :)
Helping Filipinos satisfy their love for food, Lock & Lock’s iconic airtight containers provides ease in storing and transporting food.

“Lock & Lock has been known as a brand the offers high-quality food containers that the Filipino family can use. Now, we introduce the CookPlus line and the Lock & Lock Glass line that offers Filipinos a safe, convenient, and healthy way to prepare and  present their food,” shared Rafael Chua, President of Lock & Lock Philippines.

The CookPlus and Glass line offers a wide variety of products suited to different cooking and presentation needs.

What I love about the CookPlus and Glass line:
  • Made of top class materials
  • Durable
  • Corrosion-resistance
  • Constant brilliance
  • Long lasting non-stick coating for its cookware
  • PFOA free
The cookware and glassware lines were made with user in mind, being made from high quality materials, and with each product ensuring the health, safety, and convenience of Filipinos.

The CookPlus line is perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) free, which is a man-made chemical not naturally present in the environment. Most non-stick cookware have this chemical for better cooking quality. However, PFOA is transferred from the cookware to food, which puts people’s health at risk. Lock & Lock’s CookPlus line has found an innovative way to remove this chemical from its products while still providing its users quality cooking experience.

Aside from being PFOA free, the cookware line is made of high quality ceramic which makes it easier for the product to conduct heat. This allows food to cook at a shorter amount of time and requiring less oil needed for cooking.

The Lock & Lock Glass line on the other hand is made from borosilicate glass. This makes the product durable and able to withstand varying temperatures, allowing Filipinos the convenience to easily transfer food from the freezer to the oven and straight on the dining table, without having to transfer containers.

Indeed, Lock & Lock’s new products do not just offer products that are of high quality, but products that can make the cooking and eating experience a more convenient, healthy, and safe event for the Filipino family.

Have you tried these products from Lock & Lock? Yay or nay? Share and leave a comment below.

  5. WOW! lovely like this post.its really amazing . it does not need any additional oil .it keeps food dry and warm .As it is absolute dishwashers safe, however, I believe washing by hand is that the better choice for this.Cleaning these take only a few seconds in hot & cleansing agent water as foods simply don’t stick on. If you need, then try to scrub with nylon scrubbers but not the metal one.I really prefer it for my kitchen .

  7. Don't waste your money on these pans. they work for a few weeks, but after that you'll be using more and more oil to keep food from sticking. Eventually even the oil won't help. One of the worst kitchen utensils I ever bought.
