Meet the Century Tuna Superbods 2014 Winners and the Newest Superbod, John Lloyd Cruz

I spent a super fun weekend in Boracay to cover the Century Tuna Superbods Super Challenge, the hottest, star-studded and most awaited summer event in the Philippines. It made Boracay sizzle even more as it came to a close last April 26th at the Pearl of the Pacific hotel and resort.

For this competition, Century Tuna gathered the hottest candidates with a fit and healthy body and passion for healthy lifestyle.  The Superbods as well as the celebrity challengers were honed by the Superbods Diet and Workout Plan designed by Chef Nadine and Coach Jim Saret for Century Tuna, respectively.

Celebrities also flocked to the event, which highlighted the Awards night plus fun activities like Zumba, parties, freebies and treats for beach lovers in the country’s ultimate beach destination, Boracay.

Superbods Winner Mauro Lumba and Sara Polverini were declared as Grand Winners of the Century Tuna Superbods 2014. Mauro Lumba, who was already an early favorite, also won the People’s Choice Award.

The rest of the Century Tuna Superbod 2014 winners are the following; 1st runner-up winners are Marniel Lim and Alaiza Malinao; 2nd runner-up winners are Laurens Tolenaacs and Catherine Almirante.

The celebrity challengers, the charming boys of BoysNightOut, Slick Rick, Sam YG and DJ Tony Toni also took their shirts off and showed off their new Superbod-ilicous body.

The crowd went wild when Century Tuna's new Superbod John Lloyd Cruz walked in and danced his way on the stage. Wearing a Hawaiian shirt paired with board shorts, JLC took off his shirt to reveal more defined triceps and biceps.



He has lost 18 pounds in a span of 6 weeks despite being injured from a biking accident while shooting for the Kapamilya network’s summer station ID. Sadly, John Lloyd didn't take his sando off but here's a video of a topless JLC in all his glory.
