Here's my daughter with her playmates, Kuya LJ and cutie Zeus. The kids had so much fun watching the sneak preview of Doc McStuffins and Maia loved the loots. Actually, the "big kids" enjoyed it as much as the little ones. :) I really enjoyed the good times that I had with these kids. Those moments are precious. I believe the kids and people who are "kids at heart" have the most fun in life. Agree? :)
Disney Junior’s other hit series like “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” and “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse” are currently my daughter's favorite Disney shows and surely, Doc McStuffins will join the ranks. It's funny how my daughter knows all the dances to the shows in Disney Junior. I'm sure she'll be dancing and singing the Doc McStuffins song and giving her little baby toy a checkup soon.
Doc McStuffins is a new show that teaches kids to take care of themselves and others. It also talks about the importance of good health and compassion. It may also help kids who are nervous about going to the doctor, and settle some of their fears. More often than not, when kids hear that they are going to visit the doctor for a checkup, you can nearly always expect them to run the opposite direction. That includes my daughter, Maia. While they are definitely afraid of the needles and instruments, ultimately, the reason they are scared is because they do not understand what happens in the doctor’s office and why they should go there. This is the issue that Disney Junior hopes to address with the upcoming launch of their new show, Doc McStuffins.
Premiering this July 9, the show puts an animated, kid-friendly twist to visiting the doctor and having checkups. The show puts emphasis on healthy living and encourages your young ones to practice simple hygiene habits such as washing their hands regularly.
This animated series is about a little girl, called Doc.
Now, who is Doc McStuffins? Meet Dottie “Doc” McStuffins, a 6-year old “toy doctor” with a compassionate heart and a knack for healing toys and stuffed animals around her neighborhood. She has the ability to talk to toys once she puts on her stethoscope and runs a doctor’s clinic for toys out of her playhouse. She is helped by her trusted toy friends: Stuffy, an overly proud stuffed dragon; Lambie, a stuffed lamb who loves to cuddle; Hallie, a jolly hippo receptionist; and Chilly, a hypochondriac stuffed snowman.
Each episode of Doc McStuffins includes original songs sung by the characters such as the “Time for Your Checkup” song. Additionally, Doc can be seen encouraging toys to not be scared by the doctor’s instruments and even rewarding toys with a sticker once they’ve completed their checkup. During the end credits, Doc also gives advice to its young viewers about staying healthy.
This new Disney Junior original series embodies the hallmarks of Disney’s storytelling—fantasy and wish fulfillment—and communicates to kids a strong sense of community. Furthermore, it teaches them important values such as compassion for people and things, and most importantly, lending a helping hand to anyone who needs it— toys, animals and people.
Let your tots discover what it means to take care of themselves and others with Disney Junior’s new original series, Doc McStuffins. Doc McStuffins will premiere this July 9, 9:30 am, only on Disney Junior.

ReplyDeleteDoc McStuffins is my daughter's favorite show! i like her a lot too haha! i think it's good for the kids to watch and learn about caring for their toys, and might just help us parents by getting them familiar with trips to the doctor! :)
ReplyDeleteYou actually make it seem so easy with your presentation but
ReplyDeleteI find this topic to be actually something that I think I would never understand.
It seems too complex and extremely broad for me.
