1. Oh, boy, is it pink? Yaaas, it is! I love the color (it's very striking) plus the sleek, stylish design and compact size complements any bathroom, makeup table or dressing area decor. It weighs around 2.5 pounds and it's not bulky so it doesn't take up much space.
2. It's absolutely safe and super easy to use. This steaming machine is silent and has a simple on and off button mode selection. How to use: Just pour water into the water tank (one full water tank provides about 6 minutes of steaming time, while half of it provides 3 minutes), and then turn the machine's switch from "0" to "1". And voila, you're gonna love all that steam coming out from the nozzle!
The product comes with a booklet/instructions that are in English, Japanese and other languages. Oh, and it even has a ruler which serves as a distance guide.

There is the obvious potential risk that you can get a steam burn or scalding if not used properly, which could be worse than a simple burn caused by boiling water. So it's better to take caution while steaming your face and don't place it too close to your face. You can use the paper ruler.
Also, it is recommended to use only water, not essential oils or other liquids. But if you really want to enjoy essential oils along with your face steaming, then you can simply put a scented candle or turn on your humidifer with essential oil, while using the face steamer, so that you can still smell the scent of essential oils as well.

This product is cool and useful. I never know until now that there is a portable steamer I can use at home conviently. I'll definitely check other Panasonic beauty appliance to feed my curiosity.
