Kiss Me Heroine Make Launches Jewelry Eye Color

Heads up, Princess! Last Saturday was the official launch of Japanese make-up brand Heroine Make’s latest product. As the fastest rising best-loved cosmetic brand in Asia, manufactured by one of the largest Japanese cosmetics manufacturers since 1825, Isehan; and distributed by Mandom Philippines Corp., they recently showcased its latest product the Jewelry Eye Color to a select crowd at SM Makati.

I've heard about how awesome their eye make up products are. Also, I've been using their eyeliner for about a year now when I bought one at Sasa in Hong Kong and I've been loving it ever since. So I was glad when it came here in Manila and I was ecstatic because I had the opportunity of attending the launch last weekend.

Here are some essentials for beautiful looks that all princesses can’t live without…

Staying true to the persona of the brand as reflected by their brand icon Princess Elisabeth Himeko to educate the women of the world on how to beautify themselves.

As a special treat, the amazing people at Kiss Me had even flown in renowned make up artist and beauty consultant from Japan, Miss Sayuri Igarashi, to demonstrate a tip or two on how to utilize the power of eye make up to highlight our best features. Miss Igarashi has had more than 25 years of experience in Japan, Europe and in Asia where she currently serves as the make-up artist of KISS ME Heroine Make.

Miss Igarashi said: “I am truly happy to have had the chance to do make-up for a number of Filipinas during the event. Filipinas as you know, are known the world-over to have beautiful, healthy skin which is in fact the best canvass for make-up.”

She further said that the products of KISS ME Heroine Make are perfect for the Asian skin and weather where the demand for “all-weather” make-up that withstands the rigors of heat, humidity, rain and sweat are ever increasing.

Everything is about being fresh and pretty this summer and Kiss Me Jewelry Eye Color can make your eyes stand out. Either you're sweating, under the rain or crying, you can be flawlessly beautiful at all times.

“The Jewelry Eye Color make-up that comes in four special variants: Yellow Sapphire, Beige Gold, Pink Amethyst, and Rose Garnet; is super long lasting, water proof, tear proof, sweat proof and smudge proof, perfect for the busy and active Filipina,” Igarashi adds.

Take a closer look at my pretty friend, Rochelle, after the little makeover session. Rochelle has always been pretty to begin with but the eye make up really did help bring out her beautiful eyes!

During the event, Miss Igarashi personally sat down with the different guests to chat about techniques and proper methods. She gamely answered the multitude of questions and shared her secrets. She even gave me wings! And by wings, I mean "cat eyes" or winged eyeliner using Heroine Make's liquid eyeliner.

After we were done ooh-ing and aah-ing at the many techniques, I was able to try it too. Overall, the tutorial and make-up demo workshop was an eye opener. I've learned new make-up techniques and I loved being dolled up and really felt like a princess for a day.  I also have a friendly reminder to everyone.

Never ask a woman with winged eyeliner why she's late.

Applying winged eyeliner is difficult, even for those princesses who apply it everyday. Consider Heroine Make eyeliner your Cat Eye Fairy Godmother to make all your winged eyeliner wishes come true.

Eyeliner is like my number one make up staple and I really love the Heroine Make liquid eyeliner. It is so brilliant and absolutely waterproof, with a thin and flexible tip that is perfect for drawing cat eyes. You can make beautiful thin lines or bold extra-thick lines and it's so easy to use too.

I also love the Heroine Make foundation. It gives instant flawless skin and I don’t feel like I'm wearing anything heavy. It is lightweight and has good coverage with the same effects as a liquid foundation. Definitely a must-try.
