The Magic of Endlessly Repeated Outfits with the New Comfort Care Detergent

Being the indecisive and practical momma that I am, I love to repeat a good outfit, especially if it's my favorite shirt or dress. I mean, can you just imagine getting an extra half hour of sleep because you don't have to agonize over your outfit?

What's so bad about repeating clothes? Clothes are made to be worn and not kept in closets, after all.  I'm proud to be labeled as an outfit repeater who keeps on recycling outfits. I repurposed some of my dresses to make it more fun and exciting, which is why I've worn it more than twice. I always think of how to style the pieces differently, or how to mix and match. Repeating clothes is not a bad thing to do.

Having said that, I learned to live by a more practical sartorial rule: Keep wearing what you love.

Love. Wear. Wash. Repeat.

There is, however, one more rule: Feel free to repeat your outfit for only as long as you know how to care and keep your clothes new for longer. The signs of constant wear and  tear that come with frequent laundering hinders us from wearing our faves as often as we want.

But not anymore! I'm so excited that the New Comfort Care Detergent  is finally here! With its unique and innovative formulation, it addresses the five signs of clothes aging.

❌ Color fading
❌ Shape loss
❌ Bobbling or himulmol
❌ Yellowness
❌ Roughness

At the launch of the new Comfort Care Detergent, I wore the same dress I rocked back in 2013. The newest fabric care brand in the Unilever portfolio created the Comfort Care Lounge, where the most fashionable celebs, stylists, and media learned more about how the new  Comfort Care Detergent fights the signs of clothes aging.

There were five studios to represent each of the signs of clothes aging that served as IG-worthy content hubs and housed their interactive demos. We were able to magnify different fabric swatches to prove Comfort's efficacy through Fabric Analyzers.

OKAY, now let's gawk at all the hot lewks from my fave fashion inspo, and then maybe pick up something from their style too? Great plan!

Rajo Laurel, Daryl Chang and Apples Aberin shared a few tips on how to keep clothes new for longer with the new Comfort Care Detergent.
Super love the colorful blazers. That's basically my idea of the perfect #OOTD. Granted, they could be wearing simple "pambahay" outfits and the effect would still be effortlessly chic and pleasing to the eye.

"Comfort is rooted in its purpose of bringing positivity to the world through the power of clothes," says Anne Marianne Tan, Unilever Brand Manager for Premium Laundry. "It offers a full range of products that spans Fabric Cleaning to Fabric Conditioning to deliver the best clothes outcome, and give the wearer confidence."

The Comfort range is powered by two of the most superior technologies ever seen in the category:
  • Advanced Anti-Aging Technology in Comfort Fabric Solution products prevents clothes from aging by caring for every fiber in clothing. It also prevents signs of wear out, pilling/bobbling (himulmol). It also prevents ash residue that gets deposited into the fabric which affects color vibrancy.
  • Advanced Triple Care Technology in Comfort Fabric Sensation products enhances the beauty of clothes, protecting them from color fading, fiber pilling, and shape loss, ensuring smother and softer-feel clothes.
Comfort is available in powder detergent, liquid detergent, fabric conditioner, detergent capsules and dry wash spray, and in two variants: Glamour Care and Casual Care.

Follow @comfortphilippines on Instagram to learn more about Comfort. Comfort is now available in all leading supermarkets and through Lazada and Shopee.

Would I wear  my favorite pieces over and over, say, my beloved hot pink dress? Probably not everyday. But wearing it twice wouldn't be a no-brainer.
