Miss Earth International 2017 Candidates Visit Yoshinoya in Glorietta

Last October 20, 2017, I had a sumptuous lunch at Yoshinoya in Glorietta together with the lovely candidates of Miss Earth International 2017.

Yoshinoya President Timothy James G. Yang welcomed 2013 Miss Philippines Earth beauties during a visit to the Yoshinoya Restaurant at the Robinson Galleria branch in Quezon City.

The candidates enjoyed Yoshinoya’s original gyudon, Beef Bowl and other popular products.  They shared photo opportunities with the media, patrons and fans and participated in some fun parlor games.

Beef Bowl ( Gyudon ) is Yoshinoya’s specialty.  It is the same product profile where Yoshinoya operates in other parts of the world.   It  is prepared using premium beef with the special beef stock over steaming bowl of white rice.  Yum! Other than the Beef Bowl, I personally love the Kani salad.

The Miss Earth international beauty contest is an annual pageant that focuses on environmental awareness. Started in 2001, the green-driven contest is organized by Carousel Productions, through the Miss Earth Foundation.

Yoshinoya Century Pacific Inc. started its first store operation in the country in December 2001. In 2011, the Century Pacific Group inked a partnership with Ihahat Foods Corp. to expand the business under the new president, Timothy James Yang.

It has more than 1,200 outlets of Yoshinoya around the world located in Japan, USA, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Indonesia and the Philippines. It will open in Thailand and Vietnam as part of its expansion program in Asia.
